Grampians Sallow Wattle Mapping Project

Using 15cm imagery a successful infestation mapping project of A. longifolia (sallow wattle) was undertaken in the Grampians Nationa Park. Due to the variable size of the wattle very intensive stereoscopic mapping at 1:500 was used. This helped to pick up even small less then 1 meter seedlings through to large seed bearing shrubs up to 6 m tall.

More spreading of A.longifolia with varible sizes from large shrubs to smaller seedlings. Image at 1:750
